Devilled Mushrooms

Ingredients

  • 1 oz vegan margarine
  • 8 oz sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • quarter pint of soya milk
  • 2 teaspoons vegetarian Worcester sauce
  • 1 teaspoon French mustard
  • 1 tablespoon tomato puree

Method

  • Melt the margarine in a saucepan
  • Add mushrooms and cook for five minutes
  • Stir in flour and cook for one minute
  • Gradually add milk, stirring continuously
  • Add remaining ingredients and mix well
  • Bring to boil, stirring continuously
  • Simmer for a few minutes.
