Method
- Sift together 100g plain white flour, 75g wholemeal plain flour, 50g cocoa powder, 1tsp baking powder, 1tsp bicarbonate of soda, pinch salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix together 375ml soy milk, 125ml rapeseed oil, 2tsp vanilla extract, 200g sugar.
- Combine the wet ingredients with the dry in batches until everything is mixed in.
- Pour the mixture into a lined 20cm round cake tin and bake at 180 C or Gas mark 4 for 50mins - 1 hour.
- Remove from oven and leave to cool in the tin.
